Let’s tell this story faster than usual! The game “Fast Fiction” is a mash-up of several board and role-playing games. Two to five players sit together over a fantasy map, and they only have limited time frames to tell the story of a group of adventurers who want to get rid of a king who wants all of the power for himself. The game explores the ways in which storytelling is bound to preconceived notions of fantasy and fairytales, and how to circumvent them. It is also a little bit stressy, and a lot of fun.
Ages: From 12 years up
Content Note: Stress due to time pressure, thematization of a dictatorial regime
What to bring: about 2 hours of your time, no additional material needed
